Can I buy products on Simplr?

No. At Simplr, we do not encourage the traditional model of consumption based on manufacturing products, selling them, and then throwing them away when they are no longer needed. Quite the contrary. We start from the basic sustainable principle of the circular economy, where Simplr's physical products (vehicles, furniture, electronics, etc.) are reused as much as possible until they reach the end of their lifetime. Don't worry, when you deactivate a product another person or company will reuse it.

What is the difference between renting and subscribing?

Unlike renting, subscription offers you more flexibility, so you are free to modify the terms of your subscription: you can change the duration or replace the product whenever you feel it is necessary.

Based on the fact that we make purchasing decisions on an emotional level and often regret the purchase, Simplr offers you a subscription model with which you can try the product before buying it or use it for as long as you need it, thus saving you the outlay involved in the purchase. You will also contribute to a circular and sustainable economy model committed to the planet.

How do we offset our carbon footprint?

All the products that we offer in our marketplace through the subscription model are assigned the amount of CO2 emissions that corresponds to them per month, according to the total amount derived from their production. The total amount of CO2 emissions is calculated for each product, according to the months that the product has been used through the subscription with Simplr. To offset the carbon footprint, we will purchase the related amount of carbon credits through one of our certified sustainability partners and at the end of each month the user will receive a certificate corresponding to the compensation made for the product.

What is the cheapest electricity rate?

The cheapest electricity rate will depend on the conditions offered by each company. Regardless, there are currently two tariffs in our country: one fixed and the other variable. The first has the same price per kWh all day, while the second divides the day and night into periods with variable prices. Make sure you check and analyze your consumption times before choosing and make an approximate calculation for each option.

What is the cheapest time for your lights?

The cheapest time for your lights is the off-peak time slot, which runs from midnight to 8 a.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends at the variable rate. With the fixed rate there is no cheaper schedule because the price is always the same.
